St. Felix Sporting Moments
Eight of our Year 5 boys from the U.10 A team took part in a 7-a-side football tournament at Westley Middle School on 23 April 2008.
St Felix took a while to get into their stride and drew the first two games. In game 3 they lost 1-0 giving Needham Market an own goal. They went on to win their next two matches and then drew their last two games. One of the schools in our group pulled out of the tournament at the last minute. St Felix tied for second place in their group with Needham Market. Both sides had scored and conceded the same amount of goals but, as Needham Market had beaten St Felix in their match, they went through to the semi-final.

Eight of our Year 5 boys from the U.10 B team took part in a football tournament at Westley Middle School on 22 April 2008.
They played well against the other seven teams and only conceded one goal in all of their matches. They won three matches and drew four. Overall they came second in the tournament and received runners up medals.

Ten Year 5 girls took part in an U.11 7-a-side football tournament at Westley Middle School on 17 April 2008.
They played very well in the six matches in their group, winning two, drawing two and losing two. Unfortunately it was not quite enough to get them into the semi-finals. They will however have the opportunity to try again next year as the tournament is open to both Year 5 and Year 6 teams.
